CONSORCIO - World Wide Web Day Celebrations

To commemorate World Wide Web Day and enlighten students on its significance and advancements Computer Science Department conducted paper presentation session.
Sandra Sunil, 3rd Semester BCA, warmly welcomed the gathering.Mr. Sudheesh S, Head of Computer Science Department, delivered an insightful keynote address.Ms. Suhaila, Faculty of Computer Science, felicitated the event.The 3rd Semester BCA students Ms. Sandra,Ms. Aswathy, Ms.Vishnumaya,Ms. Haniyya,Ms. Anakha presented sessions on diverse topics on Evolution of World Wide Web and trends.Ms. Sandra, 1st Year BCA, shared valuable feedback on the session.Mr. Sreedarsh,1st semester BCA,concluded the session with a Vote of Thanks.The World Wide Web Day Presentation was a resounding success, providing a platform for students to explore and showcase their knowledge. The Computer Science Department looks forward to organizing similar events

OPEN HOUSE PTA MEETING

The Department of Computer Science  conducted an open house for the second semester BCA students on 22/01/2024 from 09.30 AM to 12.30 PM.Mr.Abhilash Sankar (Administrative Officer ),Mr.Sudheesh S( HOD), Mr.Deepesh ( Class Tutor),Ms.Suhaila, Ms.Reshma were present in the meeting. The second semester registration and discussion of academic performance of the students were the agenda for the meeting.

The parents also communicated with the concerned subject teachers about their ward. The students performance and the issues were addressed in the meeting and this showcased the healthy bond among the academic stakeholders.

LEGAL AWARENESS SESSION

Department of Computer Science conducted Legal Awareness session on 24.01.2024 in College Seminar Hall.The program started at 10.30 am with a silent prayer. Mr.Deepesh welcomed the gathering and Mr.Sudheesh, HoD, delivered presidential address.Prof.Koyakutty , Principal, Inaugurated the session and emphasized on legal awareness for students. Adv.Shaheeda Panchily, A member of   District Bar Association was the chief guest.She interacted with the students about various laws,acts in the Indian Penal Code.She also explained about the IT Act and Cyber laws.This turned to be an effective awareness session for the students about current challenges in the society. Mr.Maharoof,BCA Association Secretary, proposed vote of thanks to the session.

IPR FOR COMPETENT ENTREPRENEURIAL SUCCESS

Department of Computer Science conducted IPR session to BCA students on 23/01/2024 from 09.45 am to12.30 pm in the College Seminar Hall. Mr. Abdurahiman Karuthedath, AssistantProfessor, Dept.of Commerce, Malabar College of Advanced Studies,Vengara was the Resource person.The session started with welcome speech by Mr.Deepesh V P and presidential address by Mr.Sudheesh S,HOD.The session was very informative and highly motivated as the Resource Person simply depicted the need of IPR in the academic scenario. He elaborated the session from safety pin to Google. In the concluding session Mr.Abhilash Sankar, Administrative Officer,pointed relevance of IPR. Mr.Mahroof, BCA Association Secretary concluded the session with Vote of thanks.
